We know our customers don't want a bunch of random people working in their home.  We want you to feel comfortable, so we do the work ourselves. Junior is on site from day 1 until the end of the project and he's available for you to ask questions at any time during the process.

Any good contractor will tell you as long as it takes to get the job done right. However, you should be able to get a good idea whether the project will take 2 weeks or 6 weeks. While unexpected problems can arise as the project progresses, an experienced contractor should be able to provide a timeline for the completion of the project.

When you spend your hard earned money on a home renovation, you want the peace of mind that your investment is protected. At Total Home Improvement we include a 2 year warranty for workmanship or installation errors.

 It’s never fun when a wall comes down and there are dangerous surprises uncovered, such as mould or old wiring that has to be fixed. Every company handles unexpected costs differently; however, we believe no additional work should be done without the homeowner’s explicit permission or an additionally signed agreement to address these issues. Be sure to budget 10 to 20 percent extra for unexpected problems—ex., plumbing or electrical issues hidden behind walls.

We always try our best to cause minimal disruption to your life while completing your renovation, but in most cases you’ll inevitably have increased noise, foot traffic, and dust. It will be important to have a plan in place for pets and small children.  At Total Home Improvement we attempt to accommodate your needs as best we can to increase your enjoyment of the process while also being sensitive to the deadlines and quality of work.
